The Art Dealers Association of America announced today that Gallery Wendi Norris will join the prestigious organization. The invitation reflects the ADAA's esteem for the gallery’s program and continued dedication to connoisseurship, and indicates its embrace of the gallery's non-traditional business model.

Eighteen months ago, Gallery Wendi Norris moved to a new headquarters in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley neighborhood, and began mounting exhibitions in offsite locations around the world, including Guadalajara, Mexico, Miami’s Little Haiti, Presidio National Park and The Mission District in San Francisco, and in New York City.

“It is an honor to become a member of the Art Dealers Association of America in the company of such prestigious colleagues,” said Wendi Norris, owner and director of Gallery Wendi Norris. “I am also pleased that the ADAA has included Gallery Wendi Norris among the ranks of the top galleries in the world while embracing our non-traditional business model.  When we moved to our headquarters in San Francisco last year and began mounting off site exhibitions around the world, we were not sure how the market would react. But a year later we have opened new doors for our artists, successfully expanded their collector base and reputation, increased the sustainability and profitability of our business, and now we have been invited to join the ADAA. Speaking for my entire team, I am profoundly grateful for this recognition and look forward to learning from other members and participating in future ADAA exhibitions and activities.”
