Galerie Krinzinger in Vienna is presenting artists Istvan Csákány, Eva Schlegel, Erik van Lieshout and Martin Walde at the 3rd Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Kochi, Kerala, scheduled for December 12, 2016 through March 29, 2017.

Istvan Csákány (born in Sepsiszentgyörgy, Rumania, lives and works in Budapest) is showing Ghost Keeping - an eerie installation of headless mannequins and numerous wooden veteran sewing and ironing machines that remind us of the sad rejection of manual work. Eva Schlegel (lives and works in Vienna) is showing a poetic installation in one of the corridors of the first floor of the Aspin Wall House - the artist has covered the 176 windows to let us gaze out at the harbor of Kochi via a cut out text that deals with the senses, the learning, language and the phenomenology of sensation. Erik van Lieshout (lives and works in Rotterdam) will be creating a work on site. With Multiple Choice, Martin Walde (lives and works in Vienna) is showing us a sensitive work that surprises with twists and turns.

The exhibition is on view at the Aspin wall House, River Road, Fort Kochi, Kochi, Kerala 682001.
